Backed by XLM. Strengthened through activity.

cXLM is an XLM-backed token on Stellar’s Soroban platform. Its non-custodial model supports purchases with native XLM, transfers and redemption for XLM at the current backing ratio.

The smart contract is designed to operate without an administrator, upgrade key, freeze authority or discretionary minting key. cXLM follows the SEP-41 token standard for compatible wallets and Soroban applications.

Each purchase and redemption carries a 0.25% fee: 0.15% of the transaction value stays as XLM backing, while 0.10% funds operations, paid in cXLM. Transfers have no protocol fee; network costs are separate.

Retained fees and direct XLM donations can increase XLM backing per cXLM without rewards to claim. This is fee-funded reserve growth - not validator staking, a fixed yield or guaranteed growth in dollar value.

The app uses external wallets, with no platform account or KYC. Transactions remain public on Stellar; wallet-session information and the transaction journal stay in browser storage.
